Laura L. Palumbo has 26 years' experience providing investment advisory services to high net worth individuals and businesses. In 1988 she was among the first recipients of the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. To better serve her clients, Laura became an independent financial advisor in 1995.

Laura provides her clients with guidance concerning wealth accumulation, management and transfer. She assists clients in clarifying their financial objectives and analyzing their current financial status and plans. Long experience allows Laura to present alternative strategies to achieve clients' goals by applying sound, long term investment strategies and retirement planning. Conservative by nature, she puts a special emphasis on wealth conservation while cognizant of the inflation risk to purchasing power.

Clients rely on Laura for her special expertise in the design, implementation and management of retirement and pension plans for professionals and entrepreneurs. Through regular work in consultation with an Enrolled Actuary, Laura creates customized pension plans that offer several tax advantages over standard retirement plans.

Laura also has the know-how to assist clients in the planning process for a family member with special needs. Along with an attorney, she establishes trusts, funding and investment management to help clients navigate this technical financial terrain.

A 1978 graduate of the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT, Laura graduated the University of Vermont in 1982. During her junior year abroad in Oxford, England, her internship concentrated on British Macroeconomics and Monetary Policy.
